Having just completed a PhD in Politics at Leicester University, football has tried to keep Tim Sansom sane over the ups and downs of an intense four years of research work. Tim’s family has had a proud association with Ipswich Town Football Club for over forty years with Tim now carrying on the tradition into the twenty-first century. From his base in the Midlands, Tim tries to cheer on the Tractor Boys as often as he can, but will take any opportunity to catch a football game. Having written for a number of websites and for various publications, about many teams, Tim will provide you with a regular Monday column regarding everything football. Tim’s main hope is that he will be able to see England lift the World Cup again…though we don’t like to tell him he may be waiting for quite a while longer!
