TF90M Supports Children in Need
Football Culture
Written by James Bailey

Children in Need is an annual British charity appeal organised by the BBC. Since 1980 it has raised £470 million with the money distributed to organisations supporting children aged 18 and under who have mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, sex abuse or neglect. With many people up and down the country taking part in numerous sponsored events, TF90M also joined in with the fundraising attempts. Sponsoring a local fundraising event, all the proceeds generated from such activities as our signed memorabilia sports raffle were donated to the worthy cause.

We would like to thank all the stars who generously donated signed items to be raffled off including tennis superstar Roger Federer, cycling champion Chris Hoy, Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave, World Sailor of the Year Ben Ainslie and the England cricket captain Kevin Pieterson. Of course we are also extremely grateful to those who donated money through our sponsored event as well as those in all areas of the country backing Children in Need.
