After the summer break, all us football fans can celebrate the start of the new season. No longer do we have to fake interest in those minority sports such as tennis, cricket and athletics. The Premiership returns tomorrow with much anticipation regarding arguably the world’s finest league.

Will this season see a new face amongst the top four? Many have tipped Tottenham to challenge the usual suspects, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United. Of course the battle to win the league will be intriguing with Scolari now the manager at Chelsea. Aston Villa have also made some smart transfer moves and will hope to finish high in the league. Will Blackburn and Man City suffer from a change of manager? Will Harry Redknapp be able to work some more magic at Fratton Park? There are many teams competing for the UEFA Cup places however some pundits have cast doubts over Everton this season due to a lack of strength in depth.

At the other end of the table, how will the newly promoted sides fare? West Brom are known as the “boing-boing Baggies” but will they manage to survive the drop this time. Hull and Stoke also face a massive task if they’re going to finish outside the relegation zone.

Over the next 10 months there will be many stories, many incidents and many nail biting moments. Who will have been the best summer signing? Who will be the first manager to be fired? Which striker won’t stop scoring? Which player will the fans wish had left? Who will be crowned champions? Now the Premiership is back all these questions and more will be answered and TF90M will be the website to guide you through the 08/09 season.
