Ahead of the Champions League Semi Final second leg, Liverpool FC has unveiled their new home kit for the 08/09 campaign. Sponsored by Adidas, the shirt is coloured in the classic red with a v-neck design. Furthermore ClimaCool™ and ForMotion™ technologies have been incorporated, with the shirt also boasting the club’s famous inscription, “This is Anfield”, inside the collar.

Earlier last week a petition was set up to boycott the purchase of the kit until the current owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, have left the club. This proposal has been met with mixed reactions similar to the release. Many fans feel the shirt lacks distinction however others have stated they appreciate the merge of traditional design with modern technology.  The kit will be available to buy on the 22nd May. Let us know what you think about the new kit.

Same old crap for the Scouse. But at least it's better than the shit Reebok
churned out for nearly ten years.

I would have preferred them to the Chelsea
scum in the Champions League final too.
